This model defines a structure of evolution at successive levels, the passage of which is necessary to reach full maturity in the adoption of the VHL Model.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The instances of the VHL can be classified into four different levels of maturity:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/red.teste2.bvsalud.org\/modelo-bvs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/esquemas-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-962\" src=\"http:\/\/red.teste2.bvsalud.org\/modelo-bvs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/esquemas-2.jpg\" alt=\"N\u00edveis de maturidade das Inst\u00e2ncias da Rede BVS\" width=\"562\" height=\"342\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">VHL Maturity Levels<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"widget-title\">The evaluation process and audience<\/h3>\n<p>The definition of the level of maturity is done through a self-assessment process. Periodically, the coordinating institutions of the VHL instances are invited by BIREME (VHL Network regional coordinator) to perform this activity with its consultative and\/or executive committee, where aspects related to governance, organization and updating of contents, technological platforms used are observed.
